Dee Ware has over two decades of top-tier litigation and crisis management experience, representing startups to Fortune 500 companies and large trade organizations in a broad range of complex commercial, construction (commercial, industrial, and residential), real estate, licensing, false advertising, intellectual property, product liability, antitrust, and intermediary liability matters. Dee has also defended companies undergoing software audits by large and aggressive software publishers.
Additionally, Dee has extensive experience serving as outside general counsel and interim in-house counsel for several domestic and multinational companies. In that capacity, she has advised boards of directors and senior management, spearheaded improved legal processes, selected and managed outside counsel, including overseeing RFP processes and negotiating fee arrangements, handled a broad range of international and domestic matters concerning risk and crisis management, public policy, regulatory compliance, investigations, consumer complaints, and supply chain vendors, negotiated contracts, coordinated responses to third-party subpoenas, discovery collection and legal holds, advised on pre-litigation claims and strategically directed and resolved intellectual property, product defect, personal injury, employment, construction, bankruptcy, false advertising, and other commercial disputes. Dee is a member of the State Bar of California and has previously been appointed to its Committee on the Administration of Justice. Ms. Ware has also served on the Continuing Education of the Bar’s Real Property Advisory Committee, Syracuse University’s Northern California Regional Council and the California Association of Realtors’ Tort Advisory Committee, as a Judge Pro Tem for the Alameda County Superior Courts, and various on steering committees and advisory boards. Before co-founding Tactical Law Group LLP, Dee ran her own litigation boutique and was a partner at Cooper, White & Cooper LLP, special counsel at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP and Luce Forward LLP, and an associate at two firms that no longer exist. She has received an AV® Peer Review Rating from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating awarded for legal ability and ethical standards.
