Dee A. Ware is a seasoned litigation and regulatory risk leader with more than three decades of experience advising executives, boards of directors, and in‑house legal departments on enterprise‑critical disputes, regulatory exposure, and crisis management. She has represented organizations ranging from high‑growth companies to Fortune 500 enterprises in complex, high‑stakes matters where business continuity, financial exposure, and reputational risk are paramount.
A significant focus of Dee’s practice is software licensing and ERP-related litigation, including disputes arising from failed or delayed implementations, licensing compliance conflicts, and high-pressure audits initiated by large software publishers. Her broader litigation experience spans complex commercial, intellectual property, product liability, antitrust, false advertising, and regulatory matters across industries including technology, software, medical devices, life sciences, construction, real estate, transportation, consumer products, and mining. Dee is particularly known for aligning litigation and regulatory strategy with broader business objectives. She provides clear, risk‑adjusted guidance to support informed executive decision‑making and is frequently engaged at the earliest stages of disputes to help organizations assess exposure, preserve optionality, and control outcomes. In addition to her role as a partner at Tactical Law Group LLP, Dee is experienced serving as outside general counsel and interim in-house counsel for domestic and multinational companies. She is highly regarded for her ability to step into fluid, high pressure environments and quickly provide leadership and strategic direction. In these roles, she has advised boards of directors and senior management on international, domestic, and cross-border litigation, led internal investigations, overseen discovery, subpoena responses and data preservation, coordinated cross-functional teams addressing evolving risks and mitigation strategies, managed outside counsel and RFP processes, and guided regulatory compliance strategies. Before co‑founding Tactical Law Group LLP, Dee practiced at nationally recognized law firms and ran her own litigation boutique, building a reputation for practical problem‑solving, operational rigor, and trusted counsel at the highest levels of an organization. She has earned an AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale‑Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of legal ability and professional ethics. Dee is a member of the State Bar of California and has held numerous leadership and advisory appointments, including service on professional, educational, and judicial committees. She is also an author and contributor on litigation, regulatory, and risk‑management topics affecting modern enterprises. |
